I'm sort-of re-discovering Said the Whale right now. They're from Vancouver and I had heard them a while ago but I think it was just something on in the background somewhere and I never remembered the actual name of the band to look them up later. Anywho, after watching a little documentary (called Winning America, on CBC) about their recent trip to SXSW in Austin, I've pretty much been listening to them non-stop. I was super excited to see that they are going to be on tour in September - hoping to be able to catch one of their shows!
Speaking of shows, the hubby and I are SUPER! PUMPED! to go see Sam Roberts Band this fall. We seem to listen to him/them on most of our summer road-trips, and also while camping. It just seems to fit. And their newest album, Collider, is GREAT!
