well! i'm back from my visit to the peg but haven't quite managed to get organized with my photos yet... i have about 500 photos of my beautiful 4 month old niece, and about 5 of other things/people. and no i'm not kidding. she's seriously the cutest baby i've ever seen... although i may be a bit biased... but i think i know a cute baby when i see one! (i'm sorry but some are just NOT cute, and/or look like aliens, or old men.)
i managed to not get attacked by the provincial bird too bad (except for one afternoon at assiniboine park), and despite it raining most of the time i was there i even got a bit of a sunburn (in the park again). of course i had to make a trip to Sephora and Bath & Body Works - two of my favourite stores that i used to only be able to visit when i went to the U.S. but YAY! for them now being in a few fine cities of Canada!
anyhoo, i had a great time visiting with my family! it's always hard to leave but i'm glad to be back into the swing of things here in virtually mosquito-free kelowna. my new job is keeping me super busy and i really like it! i never realized how stressed/miserable i was at the last place until now. WOW. what a difference - i'm happier, way less irritable, i sleep better, no longer dread monday mornings - even my digestive system has improved ;)
well, that's about it for the update for now - i'll be back again soon with pictures, i promise!

p.s. i'm drinking the new passion fruit flavour of one of these right now and i've got to say, it's quite tasty!
