i recently watched The Virgin Suicides for probably the 100th time. i really like that movie. it's happy in a sad way, if that makes any sense. but it really is just so SO beautiful. there is something about all of Sofia Coppola's movies that always haunt me. i can't get them out of my head for days after watching them. i can't wait to see her new movie coming out next month - Somewhere:

that looks really good. I'll have to add it to the ever growing list of things to watch. i have a friend who's suggested both The Virgin Suicides and Mean Girls forever ago and we still haven't gotten around to watching them.
oh, i meant All The Real Girls and The Virgin Suicides...
