i heart fall

so, i may have mentioned once or twice how much i LOOOOOOOVE autumn. well, even though it's still technically a couple weeks away, it's officially fall in my books! yesterday i had my first pumpkin spice latte of the season and today the weather was finally overcast, rainy and cool! i even had goosebumps being outside in my short-sleeve t-shirt!
i say this all the time but i swear i have reverse S.A.D. - i'm not even kidding! hot, sunny weather makes me depressed and cranky (with the exception of this summer, where i vowed to be happy) and cool, cloudy weather makes me happy and excited! so, please excuse me if autumn and all it's splendour is all i talk about for the next 3 months.
this long-weekend is going to be jam-packed with fun things - hubby's birthday, a fair (i'm going to see pygmy goats and i couldn't be any more excited!), going out for a yummy dinner at a local winery, a night playing a certain new video game edition... good times!

happy thursday!

Sounds like it's going to be an awesome weekend!!! Hope you have a great one!!! I'm sad to say that I STILL Haven't gotten your package in the mail. I need smacked around, I know. BUT I am working on something else that's going in it! So hopefully the wait will be worth it!!! ;) I will get it in the mail either tomorrow (hopefully) or Tuesday at the latest. Our post office is only open an hour on Saturdays so hopefully I can get there in time. (Crazy, I know) Enjoy your weekend!!! Looooove the picture! This is my favorite too. Cloudy cool weather makes me happy as well!!! xo

Oh us too! We always get all grouchy and lethargic and depressed when it's above 70-75! :) The leaves have just started turning here.
We finally got our internet up and running at the new place and almost all the boxes unpacked. We just looooooove it!
Hope you are having a fantastic weekend. :)

Love the image, Suzanne, and I totally agree with your sentiments on autumn. One of my favourite poems (and one that I can recite from memory) is Keat's To Autumn. It really sums up the beauty of the season. Wishing you blissful days. x
