Fashion Flashback

Change her hair colour to reddish brown and the high heel booties to Doc Martens and that was me for a year or two in the early 90's. (OK, also change the nice smile to a shy smirk.)

I had no idea that ripped tights were making a comeback. Exciting! ;)

The Show

OK! I finally got the pictures off my camera... they didn't turn out as well as I had hoped, but it was a little dark in the corner where our booth was, so it's the best I could get! My friend and I shared a booth (she makes fancy baby stuff), but we tried to make it look like it "flowed" together :)
The Saturday was pretty busy but - like I mentioned - it was a little dark. There were a few empty booths inside the main part of the arena so we asked if we could move in there for the Sunday and they said yes! (The inside booths are more expensive.) So, first thing Sunday morning we moved all our stuff to the new, bigger, brighter booth...
I'm still working on improving my displays. The hanging racks I have (which are actually either racks for hanging kitchen cutlery, or bathroom counter hand towel racks) used to be various shades of metal, some shiny, some matte, some silver, some black, etc... so I (and when I say "I", I mean my hubby :) spray-painted them all white. I also would like to get some smaller shelves to put on top of the tables, to create more appeal than just having all my stuff just lying flat... but it's a work in progress!

I'm back!

Whew! It was a bit of a whirlwind weekend - not to mention the two weeks prior (getting everything ready) - but it's finally done! The craft show was tiring but fun, and I got to meet lots of great people - so all in all I'd say it was a success! I still have yet to get all the photos off my camera but will work on that soon and hopefully get some posted on here next weekend. In the meantime, I'll leave you with this fun little jewellery stand, very similar to one I used as part of my display this past weekend:

I'll be taking a break from posting on here until next week - after I'm done the big craft art & craft show coming up this weekend.

I guess I won't be able to cross #12 of my big to-do list - I still have lots left to do and am running out of time! Eek!
